Easter is a wonderful time to create lasting memories for kids. To make the celebration truly memorable, consider organizing a fun Easter egg hunt. You can also plan engaging craft activities such as decorating eggs, creating Easter-themed artwork, or making homemade Easter cards.

Another idea is to host a themed costume parade where kids can dress up as their favorite Easter characters. This can add an extra element of excitement to the event.

Finally, don’t forget about the treats! Prepare some delicious snacks and goodies for the kids to enjoy, and consider including a special Easter-themed dessert that they can help create. With these activities in place, you’re sure to create a truly memorable Easter celebration for the little ones.

How to Leave a Note From the Easter Bunny

My little rascals have been over the moon about getting notes from the Easter bunny, and they’ve had a blast tracking down bunny “poop” (aka jelly beans) before finding the note.

One time, I went all out and added the movie “Hop” to the mix. When the Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance, leaving behind jelly beans and the movie, the kids totally lost it! It was a legendary Easter moment!

Here is a suggestion for a note idea from EB!

Dear [Child’s Name],

I hope you had a wonderful Easter filled with joy, laughter, and lots of chocolate eggs! I had so much fun hopping around and hiding treats for you to find. You did an egg-cellent job finding all the hidden treasures.

Remember, Easter is a time to celebrate new beginnings, so I hope you have a spring in your step and a heart full of happiness. Keep being kind, helpful, and loving to everyone around you.

Until next Easter, take care and keep spreading joy like you always do!

Hoppy regards,
The Easter Bunny

Easter Basket Scavenger Hunts

Here are five fun ideas for Easter Basket Scavenger Hunts:

  1. Themed Clues: Create clues related to Easter symbols (e.g., bunny, eggs, flowers) that lead children to different parts of the house or garden where they can find their Easter baskets.
  2. Rhyming Riddles: Craft rhyming riddles that lead to hiding spots for the Easter baskets. For example, “Where dishes are dried and cups are hung, look for your basket where you’ll find one.”
  3. Color-Coded Hunt: Assign each child a specific color, then hide their Easter baskets and clues in locations corresponding to their color. This adds an extra element of challenge and excitement.
  4. Obstacle Course: Set up a mini obstacle course with Easter-themed challenges throughout the yard or house, with the Easter baskets waiting at the end as the ultimate reward.
  5. Treasure Map: Create a treasure map with clues and riddles guiding children to their Easter baskets. X marks the spot where the baskets are hidden.

Tips for Prizes

We all love it when we can throw a party, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot. Find tips to help you shop without breaking the bank!

  1. When party guests win games, I give them tickets. Afterward, they pick a prize bag and place their ticket in it to try and win that item. It’s sort of like an auction of fun things to get.
  2. Check the clearance section, or shop at flea markets or garage sales for new or like-new items. For a quarter, I have found brand new or like-new stuffed animals, I wash them, and give them away as a prize at my child’s birthday party.
  3. Divide up your products! For example, instead of giving away a dozen cupcakes to one person, try giving one cupcake per person.
  4.  Newspaper is a great budget-friendly wrapping paper for mystery gifts!

As an incentive, hand out tickets for a DIY gift basket made from money!

Fun Prizes for Adults

Let’s say you want to create a fun atmosphere. Participants will be excited to win adult prizes! Adult gag gifts are just right for the job. Some ideas for fun adult party prizes are as follows:

Your next white elephant gift exchange will be a triumph with these hilarious urinal shot glasses. You will be the talk of the office and everyone will want one so here is the price info if you are interested.

For another example, check out this Taco Bell Survival Kit, which contains a package of toilet paper, sauce, sugarplum glade, wipes, a gift certificate, and poo-poo spray! There’s no end to so much fun adult prize ideas!

Tip: Create a hashtag with your last name or party theme to easily share pictures with your guests on Instagram. This is also great for sharing your family having a great time during fun Christmas games.

Inexpensive Bingo Prizes for Adults

A lot of the senior citizens enjoy using fake money earned to play bingo and win prizes, and it was a big hit among them. This is a great party game for seniors. It is also a classic party game that most people know how to play easily and love winning cheap prizes.

My family loves to play the Bingo game at barbecues, potlucks, and even when we go camping. It’s a great incentive to hand out an adult gift while playing funny party games at camp. What makes camp games fun? Low-cost prizes! And that means great prizes at an affordable price for adults too.

It’s no surprise that Dollar Tree is where you can find these cheap ideas that make easy party prizes.

Best Bingo Prizes

Hosting the best party games requires a long time to come up with ideas on your own, but we take your next party and party game ideas to the next level with these great game prize ideas.

For example, you don’t need brand names for prizes. Create your own ideas like making capsule kits from the Dollar Store, a bottle of wine, printable cards—these could have affirmations or be hilarious and funny—or small toys.

For the best party games, use ideas for prizes such as Picture Frames, Glow Sticks, Home Decor, Candles, Candy, Artificial Flowers, Wine Glasses, Balloons, Themed Yard Stakes, Seasonal Decor, Hallmark Christmas movies. Each of these would make for an affordable prize idea for a fast-paced game, dance-offs, even karaoke.

Affordable Prize Idea

A massive prize idea for adults (that would be cheap) is free coffee, which refers to a gift card for exactly what it costs at your local coffee shop. Who doesn’t love free coffee, right?! It’s the best thing. If you want to make it Starbucks! I’d go with a $5.00 gift card.

Another inexpensive prise idea is to have individual drink prizes. You can, for example, choose an assortment of six or twelve-packs of beer for guests over 21. Even decorate them like this!

There may also be beers from other countries that the guys attending the event have never tried before. This will definitely catch their attention!

Christmas Prizes for Adults

Many times, when it comes to a holiday celebration, hosts stick with a holiday theme for the party, so why not keep to the theme? You could, for instance, make all of the prizes green if it is a Grinch-themed party.

Also, hang Christmas raffle tickets on a Christmas tree (like ornaments) and let people pick their raffle tickets when they win the holiday games.

If you want to give out cash prizes, this could also be done this way too. Consider putting them in envelopes and letting them pick an envelope from a tree that has higher numbers for different games that require more effort.

It’s always a treat to spend time with my entire family or with a large group of friends during a holiday festivity. Adding fun prizes to any type of printable pdf game, scavenger hunt, or thoughtful gift exchange is always a fun way to make it more enjoyable!

Toddler Easter Egg Hunt

A Toddler Easter Egg Hunt is a fun, festive activity designed for young children, typically aged 1-3 years old. The main objective is for toddlers to search and collect hidden Easter eggs, which are usually made of plastic and often filled with small treats, toys, or stickers.

The event is tailored to be safe and enjoyable for little ones, with eggs hidden in plain view or in easy-to-reach places to accommodate their height and skill level. Caregivers often accompany their toddlers to guide them and ensure they participate safely.

The hunt can take place indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather and available space, with areas sectioned off to prevent older children from retrieving the eggs meant for the toddlers.

Additionally, it’s not uncommon for these events to include other child-friendly activities, such as face painting, simple crafts, or a visit from the Easter Bunny, making it a delightful experience for both the children and their families.

Organizing a Toddler Easter Egg Hunt fosters social interaction and mobility for the children and can also help develop their observational skills and hand-eye coordination as they pick up the eggs.

Overall, it’s a joyful and light-hearted celebration that combines the excitement of a treasure hunt with the cheerful spirit of Easter. Check out an example of a theme we used for our egg hunt for littles in Spring!

Baby Shark Easter Hunt

With Easter coming up, we wanted to add a unique twist to our annual celebration and decided to create a “Baby Shark Easter Hunt.” It was an incredibly fun experience that veered away from our traditional beach or ocean visit.

This year, instead of seeking sun and sand, we decided to transform our living space into an undersea adventure, bringing the wonders of the ocean right into our home.

From colorful coral reefs crafted from paper and textiles to homemade jellyfish hanging from the ceiling, the entire house was awash with sea life. The children’s excitement was palpable as they donned their homemade shark fins and embarked on their hunt, their baskets at the ready to collect the special ocean-themed Easter eggs hidden in every nook and cranny.

We had a marvelous array of eggs: some were painted to resemble various sea creatures, while others were wrapped in shimmery, wavy patterns that emulated the tranquil flow of the ocean waves.

Special ‘golden eggs’ were camouflaged amidst the decorations, containing surprises that delighted every lucky finder.

The creativity didn’t stop at the decor. The Easter treats also followed the sea life theme, with shark-shaped cookies and blue punch that fizzed like the sea foam. We even played marine-themed music and the baby shark song to complete the ambiance.

It truly was an immersive Easter experience that enchanted everyone involved and made for a memorable day full of joy, laughter, and a splash of ocean magic.

Each laugh and squeal of delight from the participants confirmed that this year’s Baby Shark Easter Hunt was not just a successful event, but a new and cherished memory that would inspire our celebrations for years to come.

Though we couldn’t find exact numbers on adult egg hunts, we did some digging and found that 79% of Americans planned to celebrate Easter last year, according to the National Retail Federation. And, while holiday cooking and movie watching were popular, 19% were all for the egg hunt!

Now, here’s some candy-coated intel: a study by the National Confectioners Association revealed that 78% of American adults would rather have a chocolate or candy egg over a genuine one. And wait for it – 17% of folks even confessed to using the same Easter eggs every year! Looks like the Easter bunny is spreading joy and fun for all ages.

  • Fill eggs with homemade infused vodka or flavored simple syrups.
  • Hide a mini bottle of bubbly in a few eggs for a festive touch.
  • Fill eggs with mini bottles of liqueur for a sweet treat.
  • Hide a few beer or wine trivia questions inside eggs for a fun game.

How to Make Boozy Eggs

To make a boozy Easter egg for adults, you will need the following ingredients and materials:

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to creating a boozy Easter egg:

Step 1: Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave using short bursts of heat, stirring frequently until smooth.

Step 2: Once the chocolate is melted, pour a small amount into the Easter egg mold. Tilt and rotate the mold, ensuring the entire interior is coated with chocolate. Place the mold in the fridge for about 5 minutes to set.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 to create a second chocolate layer, and chill again.

Step 4: Carefully spoon your chosen alcoholic beverage into the chocolate shell, ensuring it doesn’t overflow. Add your filling of choice.

Step 5: After carefully placing the surprise inside the Easter egg, the next crucial step is to seal it by pouring more melted chocolate over the top.

This process not only adds an extra layer of sweetness but also ensures that the surprise remains hidden within the delicious treat. Once the chocolate is poured, it’s important to skillfully smooth the surface with a spatula, creating a flawless finish that will delight anyone who discovers what’s inside.

Step 6: Place the filled mold into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.

Step 7: Once set, carefully remove the Easter egg from the mold and wrap it in decorative foil or place it in a gift box.

Remember to consume your boozy Easter egg responsibly and keep it away from children. Enjoy your adult treat!

Cheap Prizes: 4 Reasons Why?

Cost of Entertaining

The cost of entertaining your friends doesn’t have to be high. A prize wheel, gag gifts, or door prizes can add to the fun. A low budget for minimal prizes is always a good idea since guests love to win. Games such as charades, Pictionary, or bingo are also very entertaining options to engage your guests.

If you think your budget isn’t high enough for prizes, consider making cupcakes to hand out as incentives. It’s a win-win situation – your guests get a delicious reward and you get to keep your wallet fat!

Partying and Celebrating Milestones

There is fun in celebrating a special occasion with wine tasting, but adding party games makes it even more enjoyable. Getting older doesn’t mean you stop wanting to win games, but you become even more competitive.

Games such as “Wine Bingo” or “Blindfold Test” are a fun way to spice up the party and keep everyone engaged. Don’t worry, the prizes won’t be anything like a “Lifetime Membership to the AARP” – unless you really want them to!

As the American author Gretchen Rubin points out: “Laughter is more than just a pleasurable activity…When people laugh together, they tend to talk and touch more and to make eye contact more frequently.”

Stress Or Anxiety

Feeling anxious or stressed can sometimes lead to guests wanting to leave. There may be a reason for this, such as boredom or a lack of activities at the party.

In the event that your guests seem to be wanting to leave, figure out what is bothering them and provide additional entertainment by adding games such as the hilarious Bigfoot game, icebreakers, and minute to win it games.

Plus, cheap giveaways are great for stuff like this. You can even create a scavenger hunt, or a photo booth, to keep guests entertained.

In addition, consider providing small gifts or prizes for winners of party games. You could also offer a drink station with different drinks, or set up a karaoke machine.

Entertaining Ideas

Consider creating a theme for your party, such as “A Murder Mystery” Have your guests come in costume, organize your games around the theme, and put some creativity into your menu. Think about making prizes themed with a mystery to make them more fun. It doesn’t have to be fall to get Halloween party prizes.

Halloween party prizes do not have to be offered only in the fall. Cheap Halloween prizes can be given throughout the year to celebrate other occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries.

Halloween door prizes are a great way to create excitement. Typically, they can be given away as party favors or as rewards for completing a challenge. They are also a great way to show appreciation for a job well done or to celebrate a special occasion.

Fans of the fun game are going to love the toots out of this tutorial! Get ready to have a whole lot of fun unwrapping small prizes, lottery tickets, gift cards, dollar bills, and the best prizes around!

In this tutorial, we will teach you all the faqs… The good, the bad, and the UGLY! WHAT YOU NEED to know about the Saran Wrap game for adults and the plastic wrap game for kids!

The Wacky Ball Game Made of Plastic Wrap for Kids and Adults

Are you looking for an out-of-the-ordinary, humorous, and prize-filled game? We’ve got something special in store for you. You can play this game indoors with a small group, or outdoors with a large group depending on the weather. So grab a pair of dice and let’s get rolling.

The best way to fix a sticky party ball is with this type of wrapping! It’s amazing how much difference there is!

1. What is the Saran Wrap Game

Partygoers are lining up to play the trending party game with giant plastic wrap balls filled with prizes.

2. Where do you play this game?

If you are thinking of playing it, consider any celebration. This could include a birthday party, graduation party, bridal shower, baby shower, reveal party, Christmas party (turn it into a snowman), or a Halloween party!

At family reunions and Fourth of July parties, we’ve played it in so many places!

3. What Do You Call It?

The Saran wrap ball game has SO MANY names. What you call it really depends on your preferences. It’s crazy how many names there are for this Christmas ball game! Here are ten of them, all alone.

  1. Saran wrap Christmas game
  2. Cling wrap ball
  3. Plastic wrap game
  4. Cellophane ball
  5. Christmas party game
  6. Wrapped Gift
  7. Christmas ball game
  8. Plastic ball game
  9. Saran Wrap Ball Christmas Game
  10. Large Saran Wrap Ball

It’s a DIY party game, so you’ll hear many different names for it from all over the country and even around the world. Just choose the one that resonates with you the most.

4. How to Play

Saran wrap ball game instructions and rules are very simple. Whether you are playing this Plastic Wrap Ball Game with your kids or adults (or both), you will need a group of people!

Players should sit in a circle. The ball will be placed in the lap of the first player starting the round. After that, the dice will be given to the first person to their left, along with a small container in which to roll the dice to play the cellophane ball game.

The player with the ball will start unwrapping the ball and at the same time, the player with the dice will start rolling the dice. The player rolling the dice will want to roll a double as fast as possible so he or she could have a turn at trying to unwrap and win a prize.

Upon landing on doubles, a player yells, “DOUBLES,” and receives the ball.

Fun Tip!

If you’re playing with a group of friends or family members, instead of yelling doubles when you land on doubles, have them write funny names to say and pick one random name in place of “doubles” that players must use. The look on Great Aunt Mary’s face when she has to say “balls to the walls” 😬 will make everyone laugh (including her!)😂

Any prize or party favor that is unwrapped during your turn is yours to keep!

It is imperative that each player keeps the plastic wrap ball on their lap. If it is on the ground, it will be uncovered far too easily.

Following that, the game continues. The next person will begin to unwrap layers of plastic wrap from the ball shape to win party favors.

In order to cater to the needs of both kids and adults, we made two plastic game balls. There are goodies for the kids and a massive amount of cool stuff for adults, too.

Additionally, this allowed for more kid-friendly party prizes. As well as more age-appropriate prizes for adults.

It was the most fun Christmas game that was played in our town last year!

5. How to Make the DIY Saran Wrap Ball Game

To begin, you will need a clean, clear area.

Next, lay out enough plastic wrap to start wrapping the grand prize in the center of the ball.

Third, continue to wrap dollar store items, lottery tickets, and lip balms with more layers of Saran wrap.

When creating your holiday cling wrap balls, ensure that you alternate your prizes in different locations and in different directions throughout the ball. In addition, add several layers of paper between each prize.

Finally, you will wrap around and around until you run out of a wrapped gift, challenge cards, or a piece of candy.

Plastic Tip!

In general, we use one and a half rolls of plastic wrap for our kid’s ball, and two rolls of saran wrap for our adult’s ball. Wrapping even more or less is up to you. That is totally optional. Also, the size of carnival prizes, pinata fillers, and camping toys will influence the building process.

If you are hosting Christmas parties, you might want to consider throwing in some candy canes (it’s budget-friendly) and having the ball go in the opposite direction if someone pulls out a candy cane. This is a great way of adding a twist to the game.

During birthday parties, another idea would be to consider placing numbered unlit birthday candles inside the fun party game. If the number falls out, that number of people is skipped.

Depending on how the game is played, it could either be a hoot or a hot mess, but it’s usually a total hoot for everyone involved! Just like this Bigfoot game so much fun, I can’t get enough of it! Haha, and these hilarious Christmas games are just too much fun, aren’t they?

SARAN WRAP GAME PRIZES

Gifts wrapped in Saran wrap for the game are our specialty. It takes us a great deal of time and effort to choose what to put in the center for the grand prize, first prize, and last prize for the game.

Before creating a game, lay out all the goodies you’ll need. If you make a mistake, it’s very difficult to fix it. This is ideal if you want specific places for small gifts.

The great thing about the holiday season and group games is that everyone loves wrapping paper. Therefore, if you have a little bit of tissue paper or gift wrap lying around, then wrapping some of the gifts for the holiday game is a clever idea.

Fun Tip!

Get your balls decked out with this festive Christmas wrapping this holiday season!

Saran Wrap Ball Prize Ideas

There is no doubt that as players peel back the layers of plastic wrap in order to find the special prize, they are thinking about what cool things they might find inside this mystery ball. These are some ideas for kid-friendly gift ideas and adult prizes that you may find useful.
