How to Leave a Note From the Easter Bunny

My little rascals have been over the moon about getting notes from the Easter bunny, and they’ve had a blast tracking down bunny “poop” (aka jelly beans) before finding the note.

One time, I went all out and added the movie “Hop” to the mix. When the Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance, leaving behind jelly beans and the movie, the kids totally lost it! It was a legendary Easter moment!

Here is a suggestion for a note idea from EB!

Dear [Child’s Name],

I hope you had a wonderful Easter filled with joy, laughter, and lots of chocolate eggs! I had so much fun hopping around and hiding treats for you to find. You did an egg-cellent job finding all the hidden treasures.

Remember, Easter is a time to celebrate new beginnings, so I hope you have a spring in your step and a heart full of happiness. Keep being kind, helpful, and loving to everyone around you.

Until next Easter, take care and keep spreading joy like you always do!

Hoppy regards,
The Easter Bunny

  2. Rhyming Riddles: Craft rhyming riddles that lead to hiding spots for the Easter baskets. For example, “Where dishes are dried and cups are hung, look for your basket where you’ll find one.”
  3. Color-Coded Hunt: Assign each child a specific color, then hide their Easter baskets and clues in locations corresponding to their color. This adds an extra element of challenge and excitement.
  4. Obstacle Course: Set up a mini obstacle course with Easter-themed challenges throughout the yard or house, with the Easter baskets waiting at the end as the ultimate reward.
  5. Treasure Map: Create a treasure map with clues and riddles guiding children to their Easter baskets. X marks the spot where the baskets are hidden.

Recently one of my friends posted a link to a Tiktok video of a girl making keto and low carb crispy broccoli cheddar rounds.

Since I am on my diet and trying to watch what I eat. It intrigued me…

In fact, it intrigued me so much that I went out and bought a brand new food processor!

Well… I’m not sure if making the same recipe is for everyone. The reason I say that is because I tried the seasonings she used the first time and I wasn’t the biggest fan. Which is totally fine and to each their very own. I just needed a little more kick! 🙂

I love her concept though and a big shout out to Mandy Leigh Mitchell for coming up with this genius and healthy idea. It’s like scoring the best hot cocoa bomb recipe at Christmas!

With this recipe, I just made a couple of minor changes to work a little better in my home. 🙂#

Creating Chocolate Letters for Cupcake Decoration

To make chocolate letters for cupcake decoration, you will need a few simple ingredients and tools. First, gather some melting chocolate in your desired color, a piping bag or plastic zip-top bag, parchment paper, and a pen or pencil.

Start by melting the chocolate according to the package instructions. Once the chocolate is smooth and melted, pour it into the piping bag or zip-top bag. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag to create a makeshift piping tip.

On a piece of parchment paper, carefully pipe the chocolate into the shape of the letters you want to create. You can write out words or simply make individual letters to place on top of your cupcakes.

Allow the chocolate letters to cool and harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator for faster results. Once they are firm, carefully peel them off the parchment paper and gently place them on top of your frosted cupcakes.

Nothing screams summer quite like the refreshing, juicy bite of watermelon. But why settle for slices when you can transform this favorite fruit into something even more enchanting? Watermelon on a stick isn’t just a treat; it’s a magical experience perfect for any summer celebration.

Summer fruit pops made out of watermelon star wand.

Watermelon Star Wands: A Twinkle of Taste

Imagine holding a wand that not only sparkles with whimsy but also bursts with flavor. That’s the magic of the Watermelon star wand—a delightful twist on the classic way to enjoy this summer staple. Whether it’s adding a dash of charm to the 4th of July festivities, creating memorable moments at a fairytale gathering, bringing wizard parties to life, or simply enticing kids to delight in fun fruits, the star-shaped watermelon on a stick is your go-to party food this season.

Prepare to dazzle your guests and make eating fruit an enchanting experience. Grab some skewers, and let’s turn watermelons into stars!

Watermelon Star Wand

We love these watermelon star wands. There are so many creative ways to make fresh fruit kabobs. If you haven’t seen how daring this shark mouth carving is, it is a must-see for sure! Plus, these watermelon Christmas trees are fun for Christmas in July.

A Watermelon star wand is very easy to make, and here are the following items needed.

This magic wand fruit pop turned into a watermelon star wand is a fun party food idea.

Supplies

  • Watermelon
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Cake Pop Sticks
  • Blueberries
  • Black Grapes
  • Star Cookie Cutter

Get ready to learn how to make a watermelon star wand with these easy steps!

How to make star shapes in watermelon.
  1. Cut the watermelon in half and then in slices.
  2. Take a star cookie cutter and make star cutouts of the watermelon.
  3. We added blueberries and black grapes to the cake stick. We choose to add six blueberries because they were smaller and four black grapes. After all, they were a little bigger, and that was the amount that could fit on our stick. 🙂
  4. Lastly, you will add the cutout star-shaped watermelon to the top of the cake stick, and this will become your magic watermelon wand.
It turns into a Watermelon Star Wand or a watermelon fruit wand whichever you prefer.

This idea is so fun for a kid’s party, but even adults get a kick out of it too. I didn’t come up with this idea but was inspired by a birthday party I attended with fun-shaped watermelon wands.

If you look the idea up on Pinterest, you will find some really cool ideas that people have put together. For example, I saw fruit kabobs made out of grapes, strawberries, and watermelon and even fruit wands with cheese incorporated into them.

Fruit wands that are watermelon.

I hope you find a way to cut your fruit into fun shapes. Suppose you haven’t seen how to build a Mr. Potato head out of fruit. This is too cool for school!

And wait for it – 17% of folks even confessed to using the same Easter eggs every year! Looks like the Easter bunny is spreading joy and fun for all ages.

  • Hide a mini bottle of bubbly in a few eggs for a festive touch.
  • Fill eggs with mini bottles of liqueur for a sweet treat.

How to Make Boozy Eggs

To make a boozy Easter egg for adults, you will need the following ingredients and materials:

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to creating a boozy Easter egg:

Step 1: Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave using short bursts of heat, stirring frequently until smooth.

Step 2: Once the chocolate is melted, pour a small amount into the Easter egg mold. Tilt and rotate the mold, ensuring the entire interior is coated with chocolate. Place the mold in the fridge for about 5 minutes to set.

Step 3: Repeat step 2 to create a second chocolate layer, and chill again.

Step 4: Carefully spoon your chosen alcoholic beverage into the chocolate shell, ensuring it doesn’t overflow. Add your filling of choice.

Step 5: After carefully placing the surprise inside the Easter egg, the next crucial step is to seal it by pouring more melted chocolate over the top.

This process not only adds an extra layer of sweetness but also ensures that the surprise remains hidden within the delicious treat. Once the chocolate is poured, it’s important to skillfully smooth the surface with a spatula, creating a flawless finish that will delight anyone who discovers what’s inside.

Step 6: Place the filled mold into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.

Step 7: Once set, carefully remove the Easter egg from the mold and wrap it in decorative foil or place it in a gift box.

Remember to consume your boozy Easter egg responsibly and keep it away from children. Enjoy your adult treat!

Having a Halloween party for adults is popular for a variety of reasons, such as giving out clever invitations, creating fun Halloween games, and hosting imaginative Halloween party names. Getting your trick or treat on with the best Halloween party ideas for adults may seem daunting to you.

Attending a boring event can be a real drag. It’s easy to prevent that from happening with a clever solution – and it’s all in this article about Halloween party ideas for adults!

The best halloween party ideas for adults to have fun in October.

Getting Ready for Halloween: Adult Party Ideas

The first thing to remember is that a fun party depends on a number of factors. Planning ahead is the key to a successful party.

To get started, create a list of invites to hand out to guests. This type of invitation can help create a sense of suspense and mystery, resulting in a truly spooktacular event.

Invites can be personalized with eerie designs and spooky messages to increase party anticipation and excitement. Have fun with it and be creative!

HALLOWEEN INVITATION TIPS:

A great Halloween party invitation might include a frightening skull, a skeleton, a bat, a spider, some blood, and the words “Happy Halloween” or “Join us if you dare.”

It should also include the date, time, and location of the event, as well as any special instructions or requirements. Finally, it should invite guests to RSVP so that the host can get an accurate head count.

There are a variety of Halloween invitation cards that are not only suitable for Halloween parties, but also for birthday parties, costume parties, baby shower parties, cosplay parties, weddings, haunted houses, spooky party favors, etc.

It is traditional for our bash to feature a variety of Halloween-themed designs, such as pumpkins, ghosts, vampires, bats, witches, and more. It is fun to customize them with messages or photos to make them even more special.

For example, if you want to freak out your family member or friend, print and attach this haunted invitation from the movie It, attach a red balloon to it, and ring the doorbell at midnight. Keep safety in mind at all times.

Adult Halloween parties: Step-by-Step Guide

There’s nothing better than fall festivities, but they can sometimes be a challenge to host. Party hosts often run into problems due to not being prepared. That will most likely annoy your guests and they’ll likely turn you down the next time you invite them.

To avoid this, take the time to plan and prepare for the event ahead of time. Think about the supplies you’ll need, the activities you want to include, and the food and drinks you’ll provide.

Make your party a success by ensuring these things are included:

  1. Decorate the party space with spooky items like spider webs, fake gravestones, and jack-o-lanterns.
  2. Include a few prank items like fake rubber spiders or fake cockroaches to add a bit of extra fun.
  3. Make sure to have plenty of food and drinks available. The availability of snacks and beverages will also help everyone stay energized throughout the event.
  4. Have a spooktacular drink party with your own custom drink menu!
  5. Plan some fun activities such as costume contests, scavenger hunts, or horror movie bingo!
  6. Have music playing in the background to create a festive atmosphere.
  7. Provide a variety of games for guests to play.
  8. Offer some spookysnacks like candy apples and popcorn balls.
  9. Hand out prizes for the best costumes and winners of the games.
  10. Give out fun party favors like glow sticks or ghost-shaped lollipops or shot glasses.

Horror Movie Party Ideas

Make your Halloween party look like a horror movie. Put up decorations such as cobwebs, pumpkins, and fake skeletons around your home, business, or party venue.

Haunted house props are great for Halloween horror parties and can be used anywhere you like, including your yard, graveyard, garden, bathtub, balcony, tree, door, anywhere you want to decorate.

For example, a hanging skeleton, ghostly figures, and a fog machine can be used to create a spooky atmosphere in your yard. This will help you create a more realistic and frightening look for your Halloween decorations.

Get creative with snacks and drinks by creating spooky themed treats. Blood shot drinks could be created using these Jello Shot Syringes.

If you want to create a fake dead body, you can DIY one or purchase one that looks realistic.

Halloween Fake dead body for Halloween outdoor decoration

The following instructions will guide you through the process of making a fake body for Halloween.

Fake Dead Body for Halloween Display

You can easily make a fake dead body for Halloween outdoor decorations, or you can use it as an indoor decoration for your Murder Mystery party. It can be displayed when guests arrive or hidden during the event.

In addition, you can construct a fake dead body from items around your home, such as old clothes and pillows. Use makeup or paint to add realistic details such as a gory face or lifelike wounds.

Finish it off with a few props to make it look like a real crime scene. Cover the body with a blanket or sheet to make it look like it’s been lying there for a while.

HOW TO MAKE A FAKE DEAD BODY

Here’s another way to create a fake corpse you can place inside or outside (since you’ll be using plastic):

  • First, use recycled gallon milk jugs for the head and two more jugs for the chest.
  • Cut out holes for the eyes and mouth, then paint the face with acrylic paint.
  • Stuff the jugs with newspaper or other material to give them the desired shape.
  • Next, add a long and tall plastic water bottle for the arms on each side.
  • For the rest of the body and legs, you will create two additional rows using four long plastic water bottles and three small plastic water bottles per row.
  • A final part of the body will be made up of three long plastic bottles. Put clothes on the fake corpse for a more realistic look.
  • After that, you will need to wrap the body in a giant black garbage bag and secure it with caution tape.
  • Place the body in an area visible to guests. Add spooky lighting and creepy music to complete the horror theme.

Offer a prize for the person who can stay in the room with the body for the longest.

Organizing a Murder Mystery Halloween Party

The Best Way to Organize a Murder Mystery Halloween Party Start by gathering the materials you will need. These materials include ripped clothing, fake blood, and any other props you want to use.

Create a story line and assign roles to each guest.

For example, Solve a murder: It’s 1990, and your friend Bob is having you and a bunch of co-workers over for the weekend. But as your group gathers, you learn the shocking news: Bob is dead. If he was murdered, one of you did it.

Immediately, you and your friends begin to investigate, gathering evidence and questioning each other. With your combined knowledge and skillset, you must figure out who killed Bob before the murderer strikes again.

Make sure your guests know their roles and work together to solve the mystery. Provide clues and a timeline to help them.

Give out prizes for the first person or team to solve the mystery. Have a fun reward for everyone who participates in the mystery.

Play some spooky music and dim the lights for a creepy atmosphere. At the end of the night, make sure to debrief the mystery with everyone, so everyone knows how it was solved.

Fun Tip!

You can use white masking tape to create the outline of a person and mark it off as a mystery decor idea for a cheap and easy option.

There are many Halloween party activities based on horror movies, such as horror movie bingo games and party favors. Have a costume contest and offer a prize for the scariest or best costume.

Have a horror movie trivia game and offer a Halloween prize for the winner. Set up a haunted house with spooky decorations and scary props.

Halloween Party Movies

Choose a movie that has a mix of spooky and comedic elements, such as ‘The Addams Family’. Alternatively, go for a classic horror movie like ‘The Shining’. Lastly, a cult classic like ‘Beetlejuice’ is always a hit.

What to watch on Halloween? A round up of horror movies. Hopefully none of your guests will leave your house party with a black cat crossing the street.

Glow in the Dark Party Ideas

Glow in the dark halloween parties for adults are so much fun. You party in the dark with blacklights. You can dress up in costumes that will glow in the dark, or dress in dress in white or neon clothing for glowing effects.

The party can be more exciting by planning an adult-themed Glow in the Dark Science Experiment and making non-alcohol or alchohol glow drinks.

For example, tonic water glows bright blue under black lights and tastes great with clear liquor. Glow cocktails are made by mixing clear alcoholic drinks with tonic water (such as gin, vodka, white rum, coconut rum, etc.).

Create a fun Halloween Science experiment for adults with glow-in-the-dark drinks!

Keep the party going with fun Glow in the Dark Halloween party games and activities. Offer fun glow-in-the-dark games for guests to play. For example, classic games like bowling, hide-and-seek, or scavenger hunt with a twist – all in the dark.

Have a costume contest with the best glow-in-the-dark accessories or decorations.

It is important to adjust the music and lighting in order to create a glow party atmosphere that is immersive. Drinks and food should have fluorescent decorations or a glowing effect.

Give out party favors such as glow sticks or blacklight reactive items to create memories of the event. Offer a fun glow party themed photo booth with props for guests to take pictures in.

Provide glow in the dark face paint for added fun. Include a DJ or live musician to keep the atmosphere going. Set up a blacklight area that guests can dance in.

Provide glow sticks and other accessories for guests to wear. Include colorful lighting to complete the ambiance.

End the night with a sparkler sendoff for a truly unique and memorable experience.

Zombie Apocalypse Party Ideas

Do you know how to plan a zombie party? Play zombie-themed games such as tag, hide-and-seek, or a zombie scavenger hunt.

Serve themed snacks like brains or zombie eye-balls. Have a costume contest or a zombie dance-off. Play zombie-themed music.

Have a zombie make-up station and let everyone get creative with their look. Set up a zombie photo booth and let everyone take pictures.

Zombie Hunt was one of our favorite Halloween theme party ideas for adults. Dress up as zombies and have guests search for each other using Nerf guns in a dark room or outside.

An award was given to the team or individual who found the most zombies. We would keep the prize a secret until the end of the night. The winner was announced at midnight.

Zombie Costume Idea

I remember Halloween when everyone in our neighborhood dressed up as zombies. It started with old bedsheets that were torn up, white and green face paint, fake blood, and various things like fake claws, fingernails, ties, hats (found at thrift shops), etc which helped to complete the look.

We had a great time roaming the neighborhood in our zombie costumes. People were so surprised to see us! We even won the best costume award at the local party that year.

Having a loud, startling, and sci-fi themed costume this year will really grab the attention of everyone, and since Mars Attacks has been experiencing a sudden resurgence in popularity, the character of a Martian would make a great zombie costume this year.

To complete the look, you can find a green bodysuit, some fake antennae, and a face mask with the iconic Martian look. With this outfit, you will be sure to stand out in the crowd and show off your zombie style. Plus, a Zombie Zapper from Scare Innovations would make this idea an instant hit!

Zombie Themed Food Ideas

There are a variety of zombie foods, such as rice krispie brains. Brains in a Bun, Brain Cupcakes, and Brain Tartlets. Zombie themed food can be great for Halloween party snacks or adding a spooky twist to a dinner party.

Brain-shaped chocolates, jello brains, and zombie-shaped cookies are all popular with kids and adults alike. This type of food is an ideal way to liven up any Halloween party, and can be lots of fun to make as well.

For a zombie themed party, a great idea is to add zombie themed popcorn boxes for guests for enjoyment with their popcorn. Serve up snacks like brains made of marshmallow and jelly, or gummy worms with a side of ketchup.

For the main course, serve up some brains made out of tofu, and for dessert, serve up some brain shaped cupcakes with red food coloring.

There is a popular zombie snack called Takis Zombies Habanero and Cucumber snacks. Packed with spicy habanero and cucumber flavors that create a flavorful and spicy explosion in your mouth. There’s a lot of heat in this, I’m not sure if I would be a fan. What about you?

Additionally, in our experience, zombie figures are loved by party guests for making terrific cake toppers, for decorating around food areas, or just to add some extra flair to your decor, and they are perfect for a zombie party favors!

Other great adult Halloween party names could include “Terrifying Trivia Night”, “Ghastly Games Night”, “Deadly Dance Party”, or “Sinister Sing-Along”.

Adult Halloween Party Ideas: A Wrap-Up

End the evening with a bonfire or a campfire, a pumpkin carving contest, or some eerie contests, like a ghost story telling or a scary movie marathon. For a fun outdoor activity, you can go on a night time hike and look for nocturnal animals.

You can also make s’mores and hot chocolate or have a scavenger hunt in the dark. Alternatively, you could have a spooky movie night or set up an outdoor haunted house.

It is also fun to have a costume contest or play some classic Halloween games, like bobbing for apples or pin the wart on the witch. Or, for something more modern, you can play a game of flashlight tag or have a zombie-themed dance party.

If you wish, you can go stargazing or take a flashlight tour of a local graveyard. No matter what you choose to do, Halloween is the perfect time to have some spooky fun with your friends and family!

It’s easy to make a fruit tray with bees since you can make them in so many different shapes and sizes. This design was inspired by a baby shower that had a bee and willow snack tray table. It was so cute!

Creating a Honey Bee Tray can be a fun and easy party theme if you’re looking for a buzzy idea.

Are you a busy bee wondering what kind of fruit tray you would make under time constraints? If so, wonder no more!

Let us take a look at some of the key attributes of a honey tray that will have your guests drooling!

But first…

Learn how to make a honey bee tray for your next summer party! #bumblebee #honeybee #bee #bees
Honey Bee Tray

What Is Honey Bee Tray?

This honey bee tray looks like a fruit platter with a bee theme.

The result is a fruit bee consisting of pineapple, strawberries, black grapes, and honeydew.

It’s one of the easiest ways to make a bee fruit dessert! Several elaborate recipes for fruit platters can be found on Pinterest, but I prefer simple and fun ideas like this bumble bee fruit platter.

Making a bee fruit tray isn’t too difficult to do. Preparing your fruit to be diced and cleaned before assembling just takes a few minutes.

Bee Fruit Tray Ingredients

  • Grapes – black fruit
  • Pineapple – yellow fruit
  • Strawberries – red fruit
  • Honeydew – green fruit
  • Leaf Lettuce – Contrast

The first thing you need to do is lay out the lettuce leaves.

The first step is putting the leaf lettuce down for the bee fruit tray.

Next, you will add the pineapples. The easiest part is to lay out the wings first.

Your next step will be to cover the honeybee’s body in black grapes. I think black raspberries would work nicely too. The dark purple grape varieties aren’t quite as dark as bumblebees but may work if needed. The spaces between the bee’s body (pineapples) must be filled with black grapes. As you can see, the platter is beginning to resemble a bee.

In my case, I used an oval platter for the bee tray, but I think a rectangular platter would also work well. It was in the party decor section of Dollar Tree where I found my platter.

Keep the black and yellow shape but fill the rest of the tray with strawberries and honeydew. Adding more fruit always makes your fruit tray look better.

To complement the red fruit, you can also use green grapes or kiwi. You can choose whichever fruit you prefer or is in season where you live.

Conclusion

Honey bee trays make a great addition to your spring and summer decor – perfect for a bee themed dessert tray, a baby shower, a birthday party centerpiece, a garden party, a flower decor party, a farmhouse party, or an outdoor barbecue. If you want, you can even turn it into a hive tray.

I love this bee and snack tray table idea. You don’t need to spray the fruit trees with bee safe fruit tree spray to be around this insect, lol. Additionally, you could also have a honey dipper flowing with honey next to it or make it into a honeycomb shape. Whatever you do I’m sure it’s going to look super cool.

What fruit platters have you made? What kind of food have you served at parties?
