Who is Sasquatch?

Have you heard of Bigfoot, aka Sasquatch? This elusive and hairy mythical creature is a legend that some say roams North American forests, especially in the Pacific Northwest. It’s a star in both American and Canadian folklore and has become a beloved figure in pop culture.

How is Bigfoot usually described?

This elusive creature is said to be a towering bipedal primate, standing between 6 to 15 feet tall! Don’t get too close, though, as folks say it has a funky odor and glides like a ninja or howls through the trees. If you ever spot Sasquatch, keep your eyes peeled for its colossal footprints, which can measure up to 24 inches long!

Who was the first person to see Bigfoot?

Legend has it that way back in 1811, a British explorer named David Thompson was the first to stumble upon Sasquatch footprints. Since then, many have claimed to spot the elusive creature on camera, but the evidence remains a mystery, like a big foot-shaped enigma.

Is the Sasquatch real?

Ever since the first supposed sighting of Sasquatch footprints in 1811, legions of folks have claimed to have seen the elusive creature or even have photographic evidence of its existence. Yet, the scientific community has remained skeptical, pointing out that no one has ever presented a bonafide Sasquatch body or other reliable proof. So, the mystery remains unsolved, and the hunt for Bigfoot continues!

A game that’s hairy, scary, and oh-so-funny: Bigfoot!

This first game is perfect for family game night or any gathering with friends. Not only will it have everyone laughing, but it also encourages teamwork and friendly competition. The wacky oversized feet add an extra challenge to the game, making it even more fun and exciting.

Get ready to sprint into a thrilling party game! All you need is some household items and a sprinkle of creativity. To get started, scribble some words using alphabet magnets, and then stick ’em to trees in the backyard.

But, be kind to our woody friends (don’t use bigfoot stickers), and make sure to use poster putty instead of tape on the back of the magnets to avoid damaging the bark.

Nature Lovers & Hiking Enthusiasts this is the perfect game for Outdoorsy Friends. Let’s get those kiddos off the couch and into nature with this super simple yeti outdoor game! Prize FAQs 101

What is a prize?

A prize is commonly linked to events like birthday parties, baby showers, and contests. It is a form of recognition in the shape of an award, trophy, or reward presented to an individual. The word prize can be mistaken for prized, prizing, price, prices, prirse, or pries.

The word “prize” can sometimes be confused with other words like “prized,” “prizing,” “price,” “prices,” “prirse,” or “pries.” According to Wordwebonline and the Cambridge Dictionary.

What are good prizes for adults?

To add a touch of class, think about treating grown-ups to experiences like a spa retreat or a fun cooking workshop. I absolutely adore scoring a lottery ticket wreath or a gift basket bursting with treats!

Tech enthusiasts love a smart home gadget or a top-notch Bluetooth speaker. During the holidays, I scored a sweet deal on this Star Wars Mini Bluetooth speaker featuring Darth Vader for just $4.99! It was a gift won by my brother-in-law, and he totally geeked out over it!🙌🏻

Just remember, the ultimate gifts for grown-ups are the ones that scream “I really put some thought into this!”

What are good prizes for games?

First, decide whether you want prizes for individuals, couples, or small or large groups. When it comes to individual prizes or solo winners, think Dollar store delights, from quirky trinkets to a jam-packed gift basket. And for the grand champs, it’s like winning the golden egg in an Easter egg hunt, it’s time to bust out the big-ticket goodies!

  • Why settle for boring prizes when you can jazz it up with a sprinkle of creativity? From gift cards to gadgets, cozy blankets to scented candles, and even epic board games, the sky’s the limit!
  • These goodies will tickle everyone’s fancy and bring a whole lot of pizzazz to the showdown. Just remember, the key is to pick rewards that’ll make the victors feel like absolute rockstars for their stellar performances!
Center pieces flowers, homemade shot glasses for toasting, restaurant certificate, and a bin full of prizes

What should I give as a couple gift?

Stuck on what to gift a couple? Picture this: awarding a duo who nail the “most correct guesses”, with one half loving Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the other who likes Mighty Mini. It’s like rolling the right rolls go with game night prizes like these:

  • A fun board game that combines both action and strategy, appealing to their shared love for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while offering a fresh and exciting experience for the other half.
  • Couples’ cooking class where they can bond over creating delicious dishes together, regardless of traditional gender roles, celebrating their unique interests and strengths.
  • Subscription to a monthly date night box filled with activities and surprises to keep their relationship fresh and fun, catering to both their individual tastes and preferences.
  • Adult game prizes are tickets to a live performance or event that offers a diverse range of entertainment, ensuring they can enjoy a memorable experience that reflects their dynamic personalities and shared passions.
  • Personalized gift that incorporates elements from both of their favorite things, custom artwork or a unique keepsake, symbolizing their special connection and the beauty of their differences coming together harmoniously.
  • Remember, the best gifts celebrate the uniqueness of each individual while honoring the beautiful bond they share as a couple. Think outside the box and choose a gift that speaks to their hearts and souls, making their special occasion truly unforgettable.

Small groups: What should I give them?

When it comes to handing out small group prizes, think small prizes! Think sweets, ribbons, and tiny trophies to make everyone feel like a winner.

Large groups: What Should I give them?

This tends to get pricey when it comes to large group prizes, I would suggest something small—for example, something homemade, a pen with a company logo, or a candy bar.

Funny Prizes for Games

When it comes to hosting a game night for adult groups, choosing the right prizes can add an extra element of fun and excitement to the event. Funny prize ideas can help create a lighthearted and entertaining atmosphere that will have everyone laughing and enjoying themselves throughout the night.

One idea for a funny prize is a “Most Creative Loser” award, where the person who comes in last place in a game is recognized for their unique approach or strategy. This can turn losing into a humorous and light-hearted moment that everyone can enjoy.

Another funny prize idea is creating a “Golden Spoon” award for the person who finishes a food-related game first or with the most finesse. This playful award can add a competitive edge to the games and encourage participants to get creative with their tactics.

For those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, a “Best Trash Talker” prize is a fun addition to the game night. This award can go to the person who can come up with the wittiest and most entertaining taunts throughout the evening, adding a playful banter to the games.

No matter what funny prize ideas you choose, the most important thing is to keep the atmosphere light-hearted and enjoyable for all participants. Remember, the goal of game night is to have fun and create lasting memories with friends, so get creative with your prize ideas and watch as the laughter ensues.

Party time! Whether you’re throwing a bash for the little ones or the grown-ups, goodie bags are a must-have! For kids, load them up with toys, stickers, and treats – they’re always a crowd-pleaser.

For adult goodie bag stuffers, think gourmet chocolates, scented candles, or lipgloss. Sprinkle in some theme magic for that extra razzle-dazzle – matching colors or themed items will have your guests grinning from ear to ear.

Tips for Prizes

We all love it when we can throw a party, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot. Find tips to help you shop without breaking the bank!

  1. When party guests win games, I give them tickets. Afterward, they pick a prize bag and place their ticket in it to try and win that item. It’s sort of like an auction of fun things to get.
  2. Check the clearance section, or shop at flea markets or garage sales for new or like-new items. For a quarter, I have found brand new or like-new stuffed animals, I wash them, and give them away as a prize at my child’s birthday party.
  3. Divide up your products! For example, instead of giving away a dozen cupcakes to one person, try giving one cupcake per person.
  4.  Newspaper is a great budget-friendly wrapping paper for mystery gifts!

As an incentive, hand out tickets for a DIY gift basket made from money!

Fun Prizes for Adults

Let’s say you want to create a fun atmosphere. Participants will be excited to win adult prizes! Adult gag gifts are just right for the job. Some ideas for fun adult party prizes are as follows:

Your next white elephant gift exchange will be a triumph with these hilarious urinal shot glasses. You will be the talk of the office and everyone will want one so here is the price info if you are interested.

For another example, check out this Taco Bell Survival Kit, which contains a package of toilet paper, sauce, sugarplum glade, wipes, a gift certificate, and poo-poo spray! There’s no end to so much fun adult prize ideas!

Tip: Create a hashtag with your last name or party theme to easily share pictures with your guests on Instagram. This is also great for sharing your family having a great time during fun Christmas games.

Inexpensive Bingo Prizes for Adults

A lot of the senior citizens enjoy using fake money earned to play bingo and win prizes, and it was a big hit among them. This is a great party game for seniors. It is also a classic party game that most people know how to play easily and love winning cheap prizes.

My family loves to play the Bingo game at barbecues, potlucks, and even when we go camping. It’s a great incentive to hand out an adult gift while playing funny party games at camp. What makes camp games fun? Low-cost prizes! And that means great prizes at an affordable price for adults too.

It’s no surprise that Dollar Tree is where you can find these cheap ideas that make easy party prizes.

Best Bingo Prizes

Hosting the best party games requires a long time to come up with ideas on your own, but we take your next party and party game ideas to the next level with these great game prize ideas.

For example, you don’t need brand names for prizes. Create your own ideas like making capsule kits from the Dollar Store, a bottle of wine, printable cards—these could have affirmations or be hilarious and funny—or small toys.

For the best party games, use ideas for prizes such as Picture Frames, Glow Sticks, Home Decor, Candles, Candy, Artificial Flowers, Wine Glasses, Balloons, Themed Yard Stakes, Seasonal Decor, Hallmark Christmas movies. Each of these would make for an affordable prize idea for a fast-paced game, dance-offs, even karaoke.

Affordable Prize Idea

A massive prize idea for adults (that would be cheap) is free coffee, which refers to a gift card for exactly what it costs at your local coffee shop. Who doesn’t love free coffee, right?! It’s the best thing. If you want to make it Starbucks! I’d go with a $5.00 gift card.

Another inexpensive prise idea is to have individual drink prizes. You can, for example, choose an assortment of six or twelve-packs of beer for guests over 21. Even decorate them like this!

There may also be beers from other countries that the guys attending the event have never tried before. This will definitely catch their attention!

Christmas Prizes for Adults

Many times, when it comes to a holiday celebration, hosts stick with a holiday theme for the party, so why not keep to the theme? You could, for instance, make all of the prizes green if it is a Grinch-themed party.

Also, hang Christmas raffle tickets on a Christmas tree (like ornaments) and let people pick their raffle tickets when they win the holiday games.

If you want to give out cash prizes, this could also be done this way too. Consider putting them in envelopes and letting them pick an envelope from a tree that has higher numbers for different games that require more effort.

These Christmas-themed games using bows are perfect for adding some extra fun to your holiday celebrations. So grab a bow, ribbon, and get ready to wrap up in some holiday cheer!

Christmas Song Relay

Here’s a fun holiday game for the whole family called Christmas Song Relay. Divide everyone into two teams, the “first team” and the “second team,” and write various Christmas songs and holiday-themed challenges on paper plates.

Each team takes turns drawing a paper plate from the pile. They then have a set time limit (e.g., 2 minutes) to complete the challenge on the plate. Challenges might involve singing a Christmas song, acting out holiday-themed lyrics, or answering holiday trivia questions.

Teams work together to complete these tasks in the right place, such as singing in the living room or performing charades in the dining area. Points are awarded for each completed challenge, and extra points can be given for displaying extra Christmas spirit.

After all the challenges are completed, tally the points to determine which team is the ultimate holiday game champion. This game is a great way to spread the Christmas spirit and enjoy much fun with your family!

Small Group Party Game Idea

For a fun Christmas party game that’s perfect for small groups, try combining the classic ‘Santa Says’ with a festive twist! In this game, one person acts as Santa Claus and gives commands like ‘spin a hula hoop’ or ‘do a jingle bell toss.’

Younger kids love the challenge, and you can mix it up by adding different items, like a piece of paper with holiday tasks. The best part?

You can get creative with different ways to play, and the first person to complete the tasks in the allotted time wins. It’s the perfect game for this time of year to keep everyone entertained!

Christmas Train Adventure Race:

For a lively Christmas party game, set up a series of stations around the room, each themed with festive activities. Start with the whole class divided into teams for a little friendly competition. The first station could be a memory game where they match Christmas cards with corresponding Christmas train sounds.

At the next station, they might race to assemble a mini Christmas train, and then move on to a reindeer game where they complete a fun challenge, like “reindeer relay” or “pin the nose on Rudolph.”

Each station should represent a different world of Christmas cheer, immersing the children in various festive games.

The final station offers a cozy treat: a cup of hot chocolate for each player. The team that completes all the stations first wins a special Christmas prize. This will tye the entire adventure into the Christmas party theme.

Make a Christmas Tree Game: How to Play

There are many preschool Christmas games for kids that both teachers and parents can use to engage their students and children this holiday season. “Make a Christmas Tree,” for instance, is a fun game for kids between the ages of 4 and 8.

Instructions:

  1. In this game, children use green and brown Play-Doh to create a Christmas tree and trunk.
  2. Then, each child will receive a gift bow for the star and buttons resembling ornaments.
  3. There will be a cool Christmas prize for the child who finishes their tree the fastest.
Set a timer for a minute and have the kids make a tree out of green playdoh and a trunk out of brown dough. In that round, the first child who makes a full tree wins. Another minute on the clock, and everyone races to add buttons to represent ornaments, followed by a Christmas bow for a tree top. That round's winner wins a Christmas prize.

POP ME: The Christmas Balloon Game

“Pop Me” is a fun Christmas game for older kids and teens.

For a small group, you'll need 12 balloons, so it's like 12 days of Christmas. Each red or green balloon needs to have the word POP ME written on it and a bow attached. After that, divide the kids into teams or allow them to hunt for balloons individually. It is the teen's responsibility to locate the balloon and pop it as soon as possible so that the gift bow can be collected. After all twelve balloons have been found, whoever has the most bows will win the game and receive a cool holiday prize.

How to Play:

  • For a small group, you’ll need 12 balloons, so it’s like 12 days of Christmas. Each red or green balloon needs to have the word POP ME written on it and a bow attached.
  • After that, divide the kids into teams or allow them to hunt for balloons individually.
  • The teen must quickly pop the balloon to collect the gift bow.
  • After finding all twelve balloons, the player with the most bows wins. For extra fun, give a holiday prize to the winner.

In a race, students build holiday trees on their desks, aiming for the quickest time.

Use bows to build a tree for a minute to win it holiday game idea. #tree #minutetowinit #holidaygame #momlife

You’ll need several gift bows (for each kid) and brown construction paper. The brown paper will represent the trunk of the tree. To win this game, you could put a minute on the clock and the fastest player will win.

Pass the Santa Game: How to Play

Santa visits are something every kid or adult wants. That’s why this Christmas eve party game is a hit!

Instructions

  1. Start by setting up a circle of players and using a Santa plush.
  2. Pass Santa around the circle clockwise while Christmas music plays.
  3. Award a small prize to the person holding Santa when the music stops.

The prize can be something small like candy or a candy cane. Everyone will enjoy the anticipation and excitement of waiting to see who will get Santa’s visit. It can be a fun way to get everyone in the holiday spirit.

Christmas Pretzel Rod Relay:

For a quick and festive Christmas games for kids, gather the family members and divide them into teams. Each team starts with a plate of pretzel rods and a stack of sticky notes. Set a timer for a short time—around 2 minutes.

When the music starts, players race to stick as many sticky notes as possible onto their pretzel rods, turning them into “decorated holiday treats.”

At the end of the round, teams present their creations, and the “little guy” (a designated judge or the youngest player) picks the most creative or funniest pretzel rod. To add to the Christmas dinner fun, players could also draw card games or write festive notes on pieces of paper that will be shared with the remaining students.

This easy Christmas game adds a touch of holiday cheer to your next holiday party and can be a favorite addition to the list of Christmas games!

The Best Candycane Game – Easy to Play

The CUTE factor has me fixated on this kid-friendly Christmas game. This activity requires you to cut out seasonal themes from cardboard and decorate them.

A snowman, candycane, and gingerbread man were among the figures used. To place your feet in the craft (you can find more details with this bigfoot tutorial here), you will need to add tape.

Snowman and candy cane activity to play. This activity requires you to cut out a snowman and candy cane for props and use your feet to walk in them.

How to Play:

Two players will race across an obstacle course with a starting point and a stopping point. Depending on your preference, you could turn the obstacle course into a winter wonderland or a candyland theme.

In this game, the goal is to walk across the course as quickly as you can and reach the finish line before your opponent.

Winter Themed Game Ideas

Whether you’re looking for a hilarious Winter holiday game to play with your kids or for adults, this one’s a must-try. In conjunction with a Christmas in July party, we even used it.

Craft made out of cardboard used to create a prop for a party game with gift bows on top.

Activity using gift bows that turns into a holiday game idea.

Christmas Charades and Guessing Extravaganza

Try the Christmas Charades and Guessing Extravaganza for a festive and family-friendly game that’s perfect for party guests. Start by preparing white paper cards with Christmas-related words and phrases, and place them in a bowl or hat.

Divide players into two teams, with each team taking turns. A team member draws a card and has 1 minute to act out or draw the word without using letters or numbers while their team guesses. If they guess correctly within the time limit, they earn points and possibly bonus points for quick guesses.

For an extra twist, hide pasta noodles with additional clues around the room, allowing teams to earn extra points when they find them. Continue rotating turns until all cards are used, and the team with the most points at the end wins.

This easy game combines artistic skills with festive fun, making it perfect for family enjoyment.

Christmas Noodle Relay

For a whimsical addition to your holiday festivities, try the Christmas Noodle Relay. Begin by dividing the young children into two teams. Each team gets a bowl of pasta noodles and a festive Christmas word card with a fun twist: the word could be “Snowman,” “Reindeer,” or “White Christmas.”

The game starts with the first player from each team using a spoon to transport as many pasta noodles as they can from one end of the table to the other.

However, here’s the twist—while carrying the noodles, they must follow Simon Says commands, like hopping on one foot or twirling around.

When the music stops, players have to freeze and complete a quick memory game or a fun guessing game where they identify Christmas trains or other festive items shown on flashcards.

After their turn, the next team member takes over, and the relay continues until all team members have had a chance.

The team with the most pasta noodles successfully transported and the best answers to the guessing game win a small Christmas prize, making this game a fun mix of classic game elements, creative ideas, and festive Christmas cheer with little preparation and a pasta noodle! It’s one of our favorite Christmas games for kids!

Don’t let the music stop. In addition to Christmas party fun, you could also have a Christmas movie marathon or organize a family game night.

I had such a good time last year making this Christmas ornament with my kids. These would also be easy to do with a number of children. It is certainly one of our favorite things to make ornaments with our kids. I love family-friendly Christmas activities.

Finally, you could plan a Christmas-themed craft night or baking competition.

Creating new holiday activities with our family like these is one of our favorite holiday traditions. Small activities such as these can contribute greatly to the creation of lasting holiday memories for the entire family.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Egg-citing Easter Fun for the Whole Family!

On the hunt for some plastic eggs for your eggstravaganza? Look no further, these eggs are egg-ceptional and for a GREAT PRICE!

I. Egg Hunt Extravaganza 🐣🥚

The traditional Easter egg hunt remains a timeless classic favorite fun game for Easter! However, there are lots of games to spruce up Easter party games for a great way to learn how you can have an egg-cellent time!

1.1 Plastic Egg Palooza Gather a ton of vibrant plastic Easter eggs for a hunt that is as visually appealing as it is entertaining. For younger kids stuff them with surprises, jokes, or even small challenges for an added layer of extra fun.

1.2 Bunny Hop Relay Race Turn the egg hunt into a hilarious relay race. Participants must hop like bunnies from one designated point to another, collecting eggs along the way. The fastest bunny wins a special Easter treat!

II. Fun and Games with the Easter Bunny 🐰🎉

The Easter Bunny isn’t just for photo ops – let’s get him involved in the merriment!

2.1 Bunny Says A playful twist on “Simon Says,” where the Easter Bunny gives commands. Participants must follow only if the command starts with “Bunny says.” Any command without the magic phrase leads to giggles and maybe a little hopping around.

2.2 Pin the Tail on the Bunny A classic game with an Easter twist! Blindfolded participants attempt to pin a cotton tail on a bunny cutout. The result? Lots of laughter and perhaps a bunny with a unique tail arrangement.

III. Jelly Bean Jamboree 🍬🎊

Jelly beans aren’t just for snacking – let’s incorporate them into some sweet and silly games!

3.1 Jelly Bean Guessing Jar Fill a jar with jelly beans and let everyone guess the number. The closest guess wins the jar, creating suspense and laughter as participants try to estimate the bean count.

3.2 Jelly Bean Spoon Race Balance a jelly bean on a spoon while navigating an obstacle course. The challenge? Keep that bean from bouncing away! This game is sure to bring laughter and a few wobbly spoon moments.

IV. Wholesome Laughs with Easter-Themed Crafts 🎨🌈

Let the creative juices flow with arts and crafts that guarantee smiles.

4.1 Egg-straordinary Decorating Contest Provide plain eggs and an assortment of decorating supplies. Encourage participants to unleash their inner artists, creating eggs that are both unique and humorous. Set up a judging panel for added fun!

4.2 Easter Bunny Ears DIY Transform ordinary headbands into hilarious bunny ears. Participants can create their unique designs, resulting in a parade of whimsical bunny ears that add a touch of humor to the festivities.

V. Great Ways to Share Easter Joy 🌟🤝

Easter is not just about laughter but also about sharing joy and creating memories together.

5.1 Easter Basket Exchange Organize a basket exchange where each family member or friend creates an Easter basket for someone else. Include personalized notes, small treats, and funny surprises to spread smiles and warmth.

5.2 Virtual Easter Games For those unable to gather physically, consider hosting virtual Easter games using video conferencing tools. From virtual egg hunts to online trivia, technology can bridge the gap and keep the laughter alive.

VI. A Basketful of Memories 🧺💖

As you plan your Easter celebrations, remember that laughter is the best seasoning for the holiday feast. Whether you’re engaging in egg hunts, crafting hilarious bunny ears, or sharing joy through virtual connections, the goal is to remember that Jesus has risen, create lasting memories and bring smiles to the faces of your loved ones.

So, gather your plastic eggs, don your bunny ears, and get ready for an egg-cellent Easter filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. Let the games begin, and may your Easter be as joyous as it is entertaining! 🎉🐰🥚

Egg Hunt Extravaganza 🐣🥚

Easter egg hunts are a cherished tradition that bring joy and a sense of adventure to the holiday. To enhance your Easter festivities and make your egg hunt even more memorable, consider these creative twists:

1. Decoding the Hunt

Create a series of clues or riddles that lead participants from one egg to the next. Each egg can contain a piece of the puzzle, and the final destination can be a grand prize or a larger basket of treats.

2. Glow-in-the-Dark Eggs

For an evening hunt, use glow-in-the-dark paint or purchase glow-in-the-dark eggs. Scatter them around your yard for a magical nighttime egg hunt that dazzles participants of all ages.

3. Color-Coded Eggs

Assign a specific color to each participant, especially useful if there’s a wide age range. This ensures that everyone gets an appropriate number of eggs and that the little ones aren’t left behind in the search.

4. Theme-Based Hunt

Pick a theme for your egg hunt—such as pirates or superheroes—and have participants dress up accordingly. Hide themed trinkets inside the eggs and decorate the hunting area to fit the atmosphere.

5. Egg Hunt with a Purpose

Turn the egg hunt into a charitable event by having participants donate a small sum to join. The collected money can then be given to a local charity, teaching children the value of giving while having fun.

6. Golden Ticket Egg

Include one special egg that contains a “golden ticket” for a grand prize, such as a day out at a local amusement park or a family board game. This special find will add an exciting competitive edge to the hunt.

7. DIY Craft Eggs

Instead of traditional candy-filled eggs, fill some eggs with craft supplies and instructions for a project they can create after the hunt. This extends the fun to post-hunt activities and sparks creativity.

8. Educational Egg Hunt

For an educational twist, include interesting facts about Easter’s history or springtime inside the eggs. Children can learn as they play, enriching the experience beyond the excitement of the hunt.

By incorporating these ideas, your Easter egg hunt will not only be a hit, but it will also create lasting memories and possibly new traditions for your family and friends.

But the fun doesn’t stop at the traditional egg hunt. These games are also perfect for Easter parties, adding an element of lively entertainment. Incorporate them into your next school event, such as a PTO gathering, and watch students engage with each other in a new, energetic way.

How to Make Bunny Feet

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Cutting the Bunny Feet:

  • Measure and cut the foam or cardboard into bunny feet, ensuring dimensions around 2 feet 2 inches in length and 1 foot and 1/2 in width for a perfect bunny appearance.

2. Creating Paw Prints:

  • Cut out six adorable oval-shaped paw prints for the toes, each approximately 4 x 4 inches. Attach them securely with tape or glue, ensuring a playful and charming look.

3. Adding Pink Sandals:

  • Securely attach vibrant pink sandals to the middle of the cardboard using a trusty hot glue gun. Don’t forget the mirror effect to avoid the comical scenario of two left-footed feet.

Alternative:

  • For a budget-friendly option, repurpose recycled tissue boxes by securely attaching them to the top of the cardboard using hot glue. This alternative is perfect for the little ones, providing a snug fit for their feet.

Remember, the availability of discounts may vary by location and the specific businesses or organizations you contact. It’s always a good idea to explain your situation and inquire about any available support.

Once Upon A Child

The store offers gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories for babies and kids up to 12 years old. They also offer a wide selection of toys, books, and gear. The store also provides a discount on new items when customers trade in gently used items.

Check with your local Once Upon a Child Store to see if they offer a foster family discount. It could range from 10% to 20%.

The discount helps foster families purchase quality clothing for their children without breaking the bank. Additionally, Once Upon A Child often has sales and discounts, which can help families save even more money.

Goodwill Discounts

Goodwill may offer foster support discounts. I’m looking into this and will update this post as soon as I find out more. If anyone has had experience with Good will’s foster discount, I’d love to hear about it in the comments!

It’s certainly worth looking into. Every little bit helps. 🙂

YMCA

YMCA foster family discount. The YMCA offers a 50% discount on membership fees for foster families. This discount allows foster families to take advantage of the YMCA’s resources, such as swimming lessons, fitness classes, and childcare. You may even qualify for a free membership through your local YMCA. Check with your local YMCA for information on free memberships and lessons. Simply ask the customer service representative if they offer YMCA foster family discounts.

Again, it depends on the location but it’s worth looking into.

What are foster family support groups?

Until a child’s birth parents are able to care for him or her, foster parents provide a stable and supportive home for that child. Most of the time, foster parents work with social workers to reunite the child with his or her biological parents. Some foster parents care for more than one child.

But sometimes, there are just things that we can’t prevent. We all want reunification to happen, but sometimes circumstances prevent it from happening.

Foster family support groups are groups of foster families that come together to provide support and resources to other families. They provide an opportunity to share experiences, express feelings, and receive advice from other foster families. Sometimes they’ll share ideas for free stuff for foster families too!

They also provide a safe space for foster families to find a sense of community and support.

What is foster family training?

Foster family training provides foster families with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to provide supportive and nurturing homes for foster children.

The training covers topics such as child development, trauma and attachment, parenting skills, and self-care. It helps foster families to be prepared for the unique challenges that come with caring for foster children.

Is there a reason why the FAFSA asks if I have ever been in foster care?

It is asked in order to provide applicants in foster care with additional information regarding assistance through Federal programs. This question is offered to all students applying online, but it is not mandatory. Dependency status does not change based on responses.

Many states in the US have special funds to assist foster children in paying for college. In almost all states in the US, there are special programs that assist children adopted from foster care in paying for their college education. In some states, scholarships cover the entire cost of college tuition, while in others, tuition waivers are offered.

Foster Carer

You may qualify for a discount on your Council Tax if you are a foster carer. Foster carers who provide care for a child living in the same household are eligible for this discount. The discount is usually 25% or 50% off the Council Tax bill.

Florida

Disney Foster Parent Discount

Unfortunately, at this time, Walt Disney World or Disney Land doesn’t offer a discount for theme park tickets for a foster family! However, tickets are free for children 3-10.

Additionally, Disney does offer discounted rates for other qualified groups, such as military families, teachers, and first responders.

In addition, Disney does offer a “Magical Giveback” program that allows guests to donate their unused theme park tickets to charity. This program allows guests to donate their unused tickets to those in need.

Walt Disney World also offers a “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” program, which allows guests to volunteer with a local charity and receive a free Disney day ticket.

Ultimately, Disney’s donation programs help to ensure that their theme parks remain magical and that those in need receive help. As well, the Not so Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party have slightly lower-priced tickets versus regular admission if that helps.

Tip: Disney Springs is free to get into for anyone and has free parking! Get access to lots of stores, restaurants, and entertainment there!

We love visiting  Disney Springs (which use to be Downtown Disney); each year, we travel to Orlando!

Fun Tip!

There’s no doubt that you’ll want to watch this Disney movie based on foster care if you’ve never seen it! After all, it’s the perfect way to spend a rainy day – with popcorn and tissues!

Foster Care Rates

Current and proposed foster care rates: The current monthly rate paid to foster families for “Relative and Family Foster Care” the proposed rate will increase from $500 to $1,000 per child, per month depending on the state.

This rate would cover the cost of food, clothing, and other basic needs for the children. It would also provide caregiving families with additional resources to support their foster children.

Wrapping Up

Before I get off here, I want to say, “Thank you!” one more time! Thank you for saying, I want to be a foster parent. You are an inspiration. Every day you change the world and have the utmost gratitude for you. Thank you!

I hope you can use these deals to save money, or perhaps you know this could be of financial assistance for foster parents in your area.

Find the best gift for mom on this list! There are many different types of mothers based on their sizes, ages, and personalities. There are moms who run marathons, others who run their own businesses, and still others who run around town transporting their kids from music lessons to 4 H to baseball games.

There are some people who still have a house full of children while others are empty nesters. However, these mothers share something in common: At least one person (either a child, another parent or even a friend or admirer) owes them sincere thanks for all that they do. Do you think it might be you? Well, now is the time to take action.

Are you looking for some Vampire games? We created a fantastic vampire party game that even Dracula would sink his teeth into and want to play!

Vampire games for kids that vampire will want to seek his teeth into and want to play this halloween.

Vampire Games

Welcome to the Vampire games for kids and adults! This interactive game promotes physical activity and engaging excitement. These games are best with 2 to 10 players who are ages five years old and up. But, if you want more activities like that, check out this hilarious bigfoot game, this super funny trail of ghost farts, and the eyeball hunt!

Materials Needed

The Vampire Party Game

Vampire Fangs is a game where players must unwrap the tree and discover if they’ve found Dracula’s fangs! The players that saw the fangs turn into vampires and the other players that unwrap their tree and don’t find fangs are safe for the moment.

Vampire games that include finding Dracula's fangs. If the fangs are found the players turn into vampires.

Once the kids turn into vampires (using their pretend imagination and voices), the other safe kids will need to run to safety before being tagged by the new vampires.

If they are tagged, they too will become a vampire.

HOW TO PLAY THE VAMPIRE GAME

First, there will need to be four trees wrapped with red streamers and underneath vampire lips. The host will need to have this done ahead of time to leave a hidden mystery.

Tree wrapped with red streamers and underneath hidden vampire lips.

Each set of vampire’s lips will need to include fangs or no fangs.

For example, if you are playing with a small group. I recommend having four trees wrapped with red streamers and only one of those trees with hidden vampire fangs.

However, playing with a large group, I recommend doing a couple of the trees with fangs and at least 6-8 trees in total.

At the beginning of the game, all players will be in a circle. Then, when the game host says, “Go,” each player will decide if they will run to tree numbers 1, 2, 3, or 4. It must be a tree with a red-wrapped streamer to count.

After each player has reached a tree, one of the four trees with red streamers, those players will need to rip open the streamer and discover if they found vampire fangs or not.

Suppose the vampire fangs are found, then the players that saw the fangs will turn into vampires.

The players that saw no fangs will be safe for the moment.

Vampire games to play during halloween find out if you become one of the vampires or not.

However, the children that found the fangs will use their imagination, and everyone will watch as they pretend to turn into vampires.

The other children who are not vampires will be in danger and need to run to safety before being tagged by a vampire.

The vampire game will turn into the classic game tag. It will continue until there is one remaining player that has not been tagged.

Then, that player will be the winner!

Speaking of the winner! We love handing out prizes to the winners of our games. We recommend these fangs for prizes for when they win. Who wouldn’t want glow-in-the-dark plastic fangs with oozing blood (candy)?!

Tips and Advice

I chose red streamers to wrap the tree. However, black streamers may work better to cover up the mystery. I also highly recommend using poster putty to wrap the tree. It didn’t peal any bark off of the trees, and the lips, fangs, and streamers held nicely using it. I hope you have fun playing this easy Halloween game!

Did you know that you can find prizes for Halloween games at the dollar store? So we headed to the closest Dollar Tree to get the scoop on fall prizes for kids, teens, and adults; this is what we found!

The Best Prizes for Halloween Games

We found the Dollar tree to be a great source for finding good Halloween prizes for adults and Halloween costume contest prize ideas for kids. But, of course, we love shopping there for many other events like baby showers too.

With the fall colors and spooky decorations, you will have an inexpensive and festive favor to hand out to your guests. If you love DIY prize ideas for Halloween, you’ll love making these ghost lollipops, spider party favors, and this super cool skull DIY!

As you know, we’ve shopped the dollar tree numerous times for prizes. When it comes to Halloween gifts, a prize, or party favors, these are some of our favorites, but there’s more:

  • Plastic Bone Words
  • Festive Drink Cups
  • Candy
  • Glow in the Dark Nail Polish
  • Halloween Wall Signs
  • Decorative Colored Bottles
  • Metal Cat Rockers
  • Mini Halloween Tree
  • Hanging Ghosts
  • LED Glittered Foam Jack-O-Lanterns

Pumpkin Carving Contest Prizes

If you’re hosting a pumpkin carving contest, I recommend going with a jack-o-lantern theme. You can find all sorts of cool stuff for only $1—for example, this jack-o-lantern door display.

Another favorite is creating this pumpkin soda craft idea.

Happy Halloween Prizes

Another simple solution to finding the right item for your party could be a balloon. For example, latex, mylar, or mini mylar balloons are available at our store.

happy halloween balloons make great prize Ideas for Halloween.

Another idea would be sticker boxes. The trick-or-treat sticker boxes can be found in the Halloween aisle and come with different themes and stickers. These would be great to pass out for non candy treats or added into a prize pin.

sticker boxes found at the dollar tree for Prizes for Halloween Games.

Speaking of a prize bin, if you want to fill a treasure chest with various goodies, I suggest this toy assortment pack; it’s great for trick or treating or handing out many prizes. It comes with eyeball bouncing balls, yo-yo, spinning tops, ears, noses, fingers, tattoos, and more. The last I checked, it was $14, but if it’s changed, please let me know.

Another great Halloween prize for a child would be these Frankenstein suckers and Witch Pops. I think they are pretty neat, and I love how the colors pop!

Frankenstein suckers and Halloween pops.

When it comes to teen halloween prizes. We love these party favors for teens.

We also found these glow-in-the-dark nails for $1 at the Dollar Tree. The best part is if you get them early, you’ll have more chances for the colors in stock. I saw green, orange, black, purple, red, and more when I was there today.

teen halloween prizes that work perfect for prizes for Halloween Games

Kids and teens will also enjoy candy corn cotton candy. This seems to be a big hit at Halloween parties and a great prize incentive.

kids and teens will love eating candy corn cotton candy so this makes great prizes for Halloween Games!

I also like handing out the following prizes for teens too.

  • Vampire Teeth
  • Glow in the Dark Necklaces
  • Skull 2 Liter DIY
  • Phone Charms
  • Doritos
  • Black Roses
  • Sunflowers
  • Locker Accessories
  • Candy
  • Trophies

Also, if you were wondering, teens LOVE receiving gifts, party favors, and prizes. It is not just a kid thing; it is a huge hit at any Halloween party!

Plus, door prizes if there are costumes involved because kids, teens, and adults all love winning costume awards!

Dollar Store Halloween Gifts for Adults

When it comes to the adults and finding prizes for Halloween games, we suggest non-candy items. However, it’s because we like to get a little more creative with our Halloween treats for adults.

Dollar Store Halloween gifts for adults

For example, try picking out a themed sign like one of these that say BEWARE on them. It makes for a nice door hanger or porch display.

Another idea would be filling up a treat bucket with goodies. This could consist of baked goods, a homemade DIY, or fresh vegetables out of your garden. Again, the sky is the limit with the ideas.

In addition to the other Halloween prizes we suggested. We recommend the following ideas for pumpkin carving contest prizes and prize winning halloween costumes:

  • Lottery Tickets
  • Halloween Wreath
  • Bottle of Booze
  • Pumpkin Candles
  • Gag Gifts
  • Fall Plants
  • Halloween Goodie Bags for Adults
  • Themed Porch Sign
  • Mini Halloween Tree
  • Mystery Gift

For example, solar lights with skulls and eyeballs are fun because guests can decorate their home and use it for outdoor Halloween decor.

Another great party favor for adults’ Halloween would be this syringe pen.

Chocolate Hocus Pocus Cookies

Who would have thought that melting chocolate could create the coolest Halloween hocus pocus cookies? If you love melting chocolate and creating food that is worth sharing. You’ll love our chocolate-covered pretzels, Tie Dyed Smores, and hot chocolate bombs.

Chocolate Hocus Pocus Cookies

Supplies Needed:

To begin, melt chocolate wafers at thirty-second intervals till melted in a microwave-safe dish.

First, place sucker sticks in each slot in the mold, then pour chocolate into the mold.

Second, make sure the stick is covered in the mold where it sits in the circle of the mold.

Third, pick up molds and plop them onto the counter lightly to remove air bubbles in chocolate to make a smoother surface.

Fourth, place in the freezer or fridge to let set. When the chocolate has set, you can begin to decorate.

Winifred (Bette Midler) Cookie

We used strawberry wafers for the base color. For her hair color, we mixed red and orange. For her lips, we used red chocolate and black for her eye color.

Once we set the base color, we placed orange wafers and a few red in a frosting bag to make Winifred’s hair. We recommend heating the chocolate in 30-second increments.

The red gives slight highlight colors in the hair. We started on the right side of the base lollipop.

Next, we swirled the chocolate in a pattern for her hair, one right oblong circle, one left, and a circle in the middle to complete her hairstyle.

Then melt black chocolate and red chocolate in separate frosting bags.

We heated these in 15-second increments. We used black dots or half-circles for eyes and red for lips to make the witch.

Winifired Sanderson chocolate cookie

Sarah Sanderson (Sara Jessica Parker) Cookie

We used a white chocolate lollipop and yellow and orange wafers for her hair, black for eyes, and red for lips.

After your lollipop base is set. Place yellow wafers (about 20) and (8 orange wafers) in a frosting bag.

Distribute the orange wafers throughout the bag.

We melted at 30-second increments, started at the top of the base with a small line. Then, squeeze the hair down the sides of the lollipop to create long blonde hair. Next, on the right and left sides to add eye and lip colors to the base.

Colors for Sarah Sanderson (Sara Jessica Parker) cookie for Hocus Pocus book.

Mary Sanderson (Kathy Najimy) Cookie

We used a caramel-flavored base color.

Tip: You can use peanut butter chocolate wafers if you know you have no one allergic to peanuts in your group.

After the base is set, use black chocolate wafers in frosting; swirl chocolate on both sides of the base, add a long swirl on top of the base for Mary’s hair and add eyes and lips.
